Dark Magic Invocation III

(Each comes forward to the altar, and one who has been chosen dusts the hands and face with chalk to whiten them. Each takes three strands of ivy and twists them into a wreath, which is placed upon the head.)

White of bone, dark of shade,
Of dust and night my death is made.
Death my self, Death my peer,
What I hold I do not fear.
So bone to flesh and shade to leaf,
Death my dear, I give thee life.

(Each unbinds the strands of ivy and plants them in the pot of soil, and waters them with the jug of water.)

Call: Bone be flesh, shade be leaf,
As death is mine it bears me life.
Response: Bone be flesh, shade be leaf,
As death is mine it bears me life.

(Each washes their hands and face in the bowl of water. Silence for the rest of the evening.)
