Night of Dark Magic IV: Sun Calling
Colors: Black and Gold
Element: Fire
Altar: Upon a black cloth place the figure of a golden sun, a large pot of earth, a jug of water,
and the seeds of some good perennial potherb.
Offering: Bring joy to a dark place.
Daily Meal: Make food communally and eat heartily.
Dark Magic Invocation IV
Out of night shines the grass,
So our darkness now may pass
And change to joy that drinks the Sun
As gold that from his side doth run.
Call: We sow the seeds of darkness
And we bring the rising Sun!
Response: We sow the seeds in darkness
And they blossom to the light!
Call: We take back our hearts from this shadow
And we lift them up to the dawn!
Response: In the eye of the Sun,
We celebrate that which gives Life!
(Each comes forward and sows seeds into the pot, which should be placed in a sunny place and
watered well, for it is the luck and happiness of the House for the next five years.)
