Invocation to the West Wind

Breathe in!
Breathe in the wind of the West,
Warm and sweet,
Breeze of the evening when the sun
Goes down on a beautiful day,
Wind that brings happiness,
Wind that brings sorrow,
Poignant wind of song and laughter,
Rippling wind like the river of tears
And the sea of dreams,
Twilight wind that brings hope,
Whisper messages of love
Into your swirling vortex,
Caress us!
Breathe in
And touch your heart.

Song: Wind's Four Quarters

(Wind chimes and small bells are rung. Wine is poured as a libation. All process outside and release messages on small curls of paper into the west wind.)
